Who are Ceres Events Suitable For?
We offer occasions for medical healthcare professionals as well as for all those interested in medicinal plants. On our website, you will find a filter option, and the target audience is also clearly visible in each event description.

ONLINE EVENTS
What Technical Requirements Must I Meet for Online Events?
We conduct our live online appointments with the technical provider Zoom. Experience over the past years has shown that participation is very straightforward, but certain system requirements and conditions should be met:
- For proper display, the internet browser used must be up to date.
- Using a PC or laptop with an internet cable connection is recommended.
- Smart devices (mobile phone and tablet) with Wi-Fi connection are more prone to disruptions but also work with the Zoom app.
- If there are problems opening the access links, it could be due to your firewall settings. In this case, we cannot provide technical support.
- For Interactive Online Workshops, you need a camera and microphone for the Q&A session, case vignettes, or the interactive workshop.
Is Technical Support Available?
During online events, the moderation team from Ceres is available to provide technical support. The moderators can be reached during this time by email (webinare@ceresheilmittel.ch) or via Zoom.

Are Recordings Available Afterwards?
There are no recordings of webinars or interactive online workshops. However, all participants receive the handout in advance of the online event.
Can I Cancel if My Technology Fails?
For the proper reproduction of the stream, the customer’s system must meet certain minimum requirements (see the answer to “technical requirements”). The responsibility for ensuring system requirements rests with the customer. CERES accepts no liability for technical problems caused by inadequate system requirements on the part of the customer.

Are Previously Attended Seminars Recognised?
Yes, previously completed Ceres seminars can be recognised. However, the reduced package price only applies when booking the complete programme.
Can Medical Healthcare Professionals Who Are Not Employed in a Pharmacy or Specialist Drugstore Also Participate in the Ceres Expert Training?
Yes, the training is also open to other medical healthcare professionals.
How Much Workload Should I Expect to Complete the Qualification?
In addition to the five modules, you should allow for the following individual extra effort to successfully complete the qualification:
- Final examination: approximately 1–2 hours
- Two Vademecum case documentations: initially about 15–30 minutes per case (significantly faster with increasing experience)
In total, this results in an additional time commitment of around 2–3 hours, depending on your personal working style and depth of documentation.
Is the Training Also Recognised as Continuing Education by the EMR?
The EMR itself does not accredit individual events but reserves the right to review educational certificates individually. Therapists must provide evidence of at least 20 hours of continuing education annually.
Our experience shows, however, that therapists can submit continuing education independently to the EMR and it is usually recognised.
Does This Training Also Qualify Me to Independently Dispense Ceres Products in Psychotherapeutic Practice?
The training generally does not entitle one to independently dispense Ceres medicinal products in a psychotherapeutic practice.
Psychologists and psychological psychotherapists without medical training are generally not permitted to prescribe or dispense medicinal products in Switzerland. Prescription of medication is reserved for medical doctors, for example psychiatrists.
If a doctor is practising in the practice, Ceres medicinal products can be prescribed. Depending on cantonal regulations, doctors may also dispense medications directly in the practice (self-dispensation); otherwise, dispensing occurs via a pharmacy.
I am a Therapist and Already Work with Ceres Products. Does This Training Make Sense for Me?
Especially if you already work with Ceres medicinal products, the training can be particularly valuable. Many of our participants are experienced therapists who already use Ceres preparations in their practice and want to deepen their knowledge purposefully.
Within the Ceres Expert programme, among other things, you will gain: a deeper understanding of individual medicinal plants and their principles of action, new therapeutic approaches and more differentiated uses of Ceres medicinal products, practical case examples for everyday therapeutic work, an expanded perspective on the holistic application of the preparations.
What if I Cannot Complete a Module? Can I Attend It Next Year and Then Finish the Expert Qualification?
If you are unable to complete a module once, it is basically possible to catch up later and then complete the Ceres Expert qualification.
Is It Mandatory to Come to Kesswil or Is the Training Also Available Completely Online?
To receive the Ceres Expert training certificate, attendance at the onsite modules in Kesswil is required. Completion of the training is tied to these in-person events. Personal exchange, joint case discussions and deeper acquaintance with the medicinal plants and preparations on site are a central part of the training and are especially appreciated by many participants.
